Content Placement

Feature Introduction

The content placement feature allows users to embed images, videos, and model assets within a virtual scene. This functionality enhances the immersive experience by integrating various multimedia elements directly into the environment, providing users with a richer and more interactive exploration of the virtual space. By strategically placing these elements, creators can guide user attention, provide additional context, and enhance the overall storytelling within the virtual tour.

 

Placing 2D Content

To place 2D content, such as images and videos, within a virtual scene, follow these steps:

  1. Add 2D Items: Click the "Add Image or Video" button to begin adding images and videos to the scene.
  2. Position the Virtual Screen: The virtual screen will follow your mouse movement. Use the right mouse button to confirm the hotspot position. You can move the screen and rotate the view to ensure proper placement.
  3. Adjust Position and Rotation: After confirming the position, use the toolbar at the top of the canvas to switch between move and rotate modes. You can also click "Reposition" to reselect the location. Drag the indicators on the canvas to adjust the position and rotation.
  4. Select Assets: Choose the desired images or videos from the asset library to place within the scene.
  5. Adjust Parameters: During content editing, adjust the position by dragging on the canvas. Modify the virtual screen size in the right-hand editing panel, and adjust the rotation angle either by dragging on the canvas or using the editing panel.
  6. Save Placement: Once adjustments are complete, click "Save" to finalize the placement of the 2D content.

These steps allow you to effectively integrate 2D multimedia elements into your virtual environment, enhancing the visual and interactive experience for users.

 

Placing 3D Models

To place a 3D model within a virtual scene, follow these steps:

  1. Add 3D Model: Click the "Add 3D Object" button to begin the process of placing a 3D model in the scene.
  2. Select Model: Choose either a default system model or a custom model uploaded from the asset library. After selecting the model, right-click to place it within the space.
  3. Adjust Model: Use the toolbar on the canvas to perform various operations on the model, including:
    • Move: Adjust the position of the model within the space.
    • Rotate: Change the orientation of the model.
    • Scale: Resize the model to fit the desired dimensions.
    • Change Position: Reposition the model if needed.Additionally, you can modify the model's size and other parameters using the properties card on the right side of the interface.
  4. Save Placement: Once you have adjusted the model to your satisfaction, click "Save" to finalize its placement in the virtual environment.

These steps enable you to effectively integrate 3D models into your virtual scene, enhancing the spatial and interactive elements of the environment.

 

Display End for Placing 3D Models

To place 3D models on the display end, follow these steps:

  1. Enable Front-End Placement:
    • In the editing interface, ensure that the front-end placement switch is turned on. This allows for the placement of 3D content on the display end.
    • Upload the 3D model that you want to make available for placement. This step is crucial as it prepares the model for use in the display environment.
  2. Place 3D Objects on the Display End:
    • Access the right-side toolbar and navigate to "More" to find the "Placement Item" option.
    • Select the desired location within the space where you want to place the 3D model.
    • Right-click to finalize the placement of the model in the selected area.
  3. Adjust Model Parameters:
    • After placing the model, you can adjust its size and other related parameters to fit the desired specifications within the virtual environment.

These steps ensure that 3D models are effectively integrated into the display end, allowing for interactive and visually appealing virtual spaces.
